    This is an
Original 8"x10" (approx.) UNIVERSAL LAMINATED Black and White KEYBOOK Still
    , with the
    ORIGINAL UNIVERSAL PRODUCTION SNIPE
    attached.
    This is an
    ORIGINAL UNIVERSAL PICTURES KEYBOOK PHOTO
, from a master set prepared by Universal to submit for Code review, art department preparation, or promotional use, and never intended for general or publicity use. A Universal Keybook Still from the 1950s and 1960s usually has 2 or 3-hole punches to a tab attached to one side where it was bound; in this case the border has been trimmed to remove the Keybook tab and reduce the Still to standard size. In the early to mid-1960s, Universal laminated some of their Keybook Still sets. While the Stills themselves were well protected in this manner, the casualty most often was the snipes taped to the verso, as the cellophane tape then available usually peeled away over time with the loss of the snipe.
A true photographic still, not a computer generated print or scan. This is an
    Original Universal Pictures
    LAMINATED KEYBOOK
    Still
used to promote the film on its original release.
