The bat was purchased from the Houston Astros and Astros Authentics program and is guaranteed authentic.  The bat has been MLB authenticated as "team issued."  This bat was found in early 2021 in team storage and authenticated at that time.  The bat was in the team's equipment storage and later authenticated.  The authentication notes "broken" as the category, but it is not broken.
Jose has played 11 MLB seasons with the Houston Astros.  He was the 2019 AL MVP Award Winner and a member of the 2017 Astros World Series Championship team!
