Mario Dei Rossi worked in some of the most famous glass factories of 20th century: Aureliano Toso, Alfredo Barbini, Fratelli Ferro and others.
In 1989, he stopped working in furnaces and applied himself in making murrine using
the cold composition method,
This murrina portrait of Antonio Salviati (co-founder of the "Salviati & Co. Glass Factory", was made in 1995.
It is hard to read without using a jeweler's loupe, his signature cane (MdR) is in the border at 4 o'clock. 3rd photo.
