Beautiful Vintage Noritake Alford China Dinnerware Service. Description: This pattern features an Ivory Outer Rim with a White Center, Blue & Yellow Edge with Multi-colored Floral design and Gold Trimmed Rim. Made in Japan. This is a beautiful two-toned set of china!
"Noritake China 'M' JAPAN" Maker's Mark. This mark is from circa 1933 to 1940, or whenever imports from Japan ended due to World War II. This pattern is discontinued.
Condition: These are used and 80 years old but overall excellent condition for that age. Light-to-moderate shelf wear and light utensil marks and wear to the gold trim on many pieces. The cups show wear to the gilt handles, where they have been stacked together, casing a rub on that spot. Specific flaws are described by item below. Please use the photos with the descriptions as well. These are sold as is, unless I have overlooked a major flaw. Message me and I will reach a solution i any issues arise.

10" Width. This plate has a 1/2" x 1/4" scuff to the Ivory plate below the rim exposing the white porcelain underneath. There are no cracks and it is too shallow to describe it as a chip. Shown in photos.
* 1 - Dinner Plate - Chipped,
10" Width. 1-1/4" x 1/2" chip on the rim top as shown in photos.
* 8 - Square Salad Plates,
7-7/8 Square (8-5/8" diagonally)
* 3 - Square Salad Plates - Scuffed,
7-7/8 Square (8-5/8" diagonally). Two plates with small scuffs (1/4" x 1/4" or smaller) to the Ivory plate below the rim exposing the white porcelain underneath. There are no cracks and it is too shallow to describe it as a chip. Shown in photos.
* 1 - Square Salad Plate - Chipped,
7-7/8 Square (8-5/8" diagonally). 3/8" x 1/4" chip on the rim top as shown in photos.
