Beautiful Vintage Hand Painted Sauce/Mayonnaise, Underplate, Spoon Ladle & 6 SaltsThe Hand Painted Sunset Scene on the Sauce bowl, underplate and spoon is a Windmill Lakeside Scene with Trees.
Very good condition. No chips or cracks.
Red backstamp of "M" in laurel leaf wreath for Morimura and Noritake.
Made in Japan.
Backstamp dates these pieces between 1918 to 1940.
The Hand Painted Sunset Scene on the 6 salts is a Rural Cottage Lakeside Scene Shaded by Trees.
6 salts measures 1-1/2" h x 2-1/2" l
Gold gilt around the rim.
Very good condition. No chips or cracks.
Light gold wear is evident.

The Noritake Company was first registered in 1904 as Nippon Gomei Kaisha.
In 1917 the name became Nippon Toki Kabushiki Toki.
The "M in Wreath" mark is that of the Morimura Brothers, distributors with offices in New York. It was registered in 1918 and used from the early 1920's through 1941.
